ReciproPix.com is intended as a place where you can post your interest in having pictures taken for you and delivered to you from other similar users. It is intended to be a free service.

The terminology we prefer here is to refer to those who submit requests as requesters and those who take pictures in response to those requests as providers.

When you post a request for a picture, you must agree to the following limitations:

The photograph you are requesting does not involve asking another user to take an unnecessary physical risk.

The photograph you are requesting does not involve breaking the law in the place where you go to take the photo.

Submitting requests is a free service of ReciproPix.com. No fee is charged to requesters to enter requests. Of course, we'll take any money you want to give us. Going out and taking pictures usually involves some expense. If you need a photo that might incur some extraordinary expense to the provider, it is acceptable for you to offer to pay.

Other payment between requesters and providers is allowed, but discouraged. We prefer that you rely more on our point system than on payment. If such payment happens, please consider paying ReciproPix a commission for the service.

To protect your privacy, we ask that you not post your email address in requests. You may be reached through our interfaces without your email address being given to potential providers.

ReciproPix is not to be used to request or convey pornographic images. The term "pornography" is problematic to define, so ReciproPix, as a private business, reserves the right to define it according to its own standards and to choose its own sanctions and remedies for users who violate this requirement.

When you go into the field to fulfill a request, you must acknowledge the following:

You take the photo at your own risk. Requests are monitored for risky requests, but it is impossible for ReciproPix to monitor all requests. If a request seems to involve danger to life, limb, or personal property, please report it to the adminstrators. Do not fill the request.

ReciproPix.com is not responsible for any criminal behavior you engage in to fill a request. Report to the administrators any requests that seem to be asking you to break the law.

ReciproPix.com is a service for amateur providers. It is not intended that professional photographers (or those trying to become professional photographers) will charge a fee for services. If some significant expense will be incurred by you in filling a request, it is acceptable to request funds from the requester to cover these expenses.
